Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference in Beijing on Tuesday that the current border situation is normal and stable after the clashes with India, according to Reuters.
After the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and entered Indian soil, there was a clash between the two armies and although there were no casualties, some personnel from both sides sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile, speaking in the Lok Sabha, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that there was an attempt of encroachment by the PLA in the Tawang area of Arunachal Pradesh and it was foiled by the Indian Army bravely.
He also informed that the issue has been raised with China through diplomatic channels.
The opposition MPs made a fuss in the Parliament today regarding the clash between the Indian and Chinese armies.
After the defense minister’s speech, the opposition leaders walked out of the Lok Sabha protesting against the government.
