On December 9, there was a clash between Chinese soldiers and Indian soldiers in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given a statement in both the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday.

Now the US has reacted to the military clash between India and China. White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre said,

“The United States is closely monitoring the situation and we advise both sides to use existing bilateral channels to discuss the disputed border.”

In response to a journalist’s question, he said, “This time, we are happy that both sides stopped fighting quickly.”

We are closely monitoring the situation, India and China should use the existing bilateral channels to discuss the disputed border.

Meanwhile, the headquarters of the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, has also responded to this.

Speaking to the media, Pentagon Press Secretary Pat Ryder said, “The Department of Defense is closely monitoring developments along the Line of Actual Control.”

We have seen that the Chinese Army is increasing its security forces near the LAC and building military infrastructure.

This reflects China’s provocative attitude towards US allies and our partners in the Indo-Pacific.
