Wales captain Gareth Bale has announced his retirement.

The 33-year-old Bale, who won the most caps and scored goals from Wales, announced his retirement from the national team by writing a status on social media.

He said that he took this decision after much thought.

He said that he decided to take a break from football as a player, saying that he felt very lucky to be able to fulfill his dream of playing his favorite sport.

“After careful and thoughtful consideration, I announce my immediate retirement from club and international football.

“I feel incredibly lucky to be able to fulfill my dream of playing the game I love,” Bell said.

He is the best player Wales football has ever had.

He was instrumental in all of Wales’ success from 2016 to 2022.

Under his captaincy, Wales qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1958 and also managed to leave a good impression at the European Championship.

Bale has scored 41 goals in 111 matches in his international career.

Born in Cardiff, Bale started his professional football career with English Premier League club Southampton.

He was then signed by Tottenham for a record fee of £80 million to Spanish club Real Madrid in September 2013.

His stay in the Spanish league was the most enjoyable. He led Real to three La Liga titles.

He won five Champions Leagues, three Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups and one Spanish Cup with Real.

Recently, he played professional football in Major Soccer League club Los Angeles of America and scored 115 goals in his professional career.
